Creation of Dgital Jharkhand Archive
The History, Traditions and Culture of Jharkhand are very rich. And in today’s
fast changing World it becomes a responsibility on the part of the citizens to
preserve and safeguard this precious heritage and customs. In order to realize
this, SAMVAD has initiated an effort to create a “Digital Jharkhand Archive”
aimed at conserving the history and culture of Jharkhand. This would include
documentation on folk songs, folklores, traditional dresses, languages,
historical monuments of Jharkhand etc. It would also house information on some
of the great personalities Jharkhand has produced and those who have contributed
towards making culture of Jharkhand precious.
